B5 a blend of 5 percent soybean fuel and 95 percent regular diesel is now available and being used in the greater Cleveland area. Contact AMS for ordering information. B5 raises the lubricating level in the fuel, which is important in diesel engines. It also reduces America's reliance on foreign oil because it's a home-grown, sustainable fuel. Soybeans used in the biodiesel are grown in Ohio and other Midwestern states, then turned into a liquid fuel. It is a clean burning fuel that is biodegradable, nontoxic and sulfur free fuel that meets the diesel fuel standard and can be used in most diesel engines.
